Nedl
Nedl is an app that searches live realtime audio (radio, podcasts and live streams) and conncets listeners with voices on the rise. After nedl app initially launched on both the apple and android app stores; user engagement decreased. That’s when nedl approached us to rework their apps and offer their users better a better experience.
What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
The Solution
After downing multiple UX workshops with the stakeholders, we reached the conclusion that the old app had to be split into 2 different apps. One application tailored for listeners with more than 55M podcast episodes, 40M songs, and 100K live streaming stations. All of this streaming content is searchable in real-time as the live news, sports, talk, information, podcasts, and music is being spoken or sung. The second app is tailored for creators offering them the tools they need to interact with their audience and monetize their platform.
